Project Outline:
The Project involved the construction of a temporary diversion
and concrete retaining wall.
The work included:
- Installation and subsequent removal of four 42"
siphons over the existing spillway to divert water during
construction of the wall.
- Construction of a concrete retaining wall with twin
3.6m multi-plate culverts running from the existing diversion
tunnel through the wall. This wall will act as a coffer
dam for the construction of a powerhouse to be included
in Atco's next contract.
