Project Outline:
Design and build a transformer containment in accordance to the Ministry of the Environment standards.
The work scope included:
- Detailed design of containment system
- Excavation of substation around transformers
- Pouring new concrete walls and base slab
- Building fire retardant walls between transformers
- Covering area with impermiable membrane
- Covering membrane with clean stone, and
- Reinstalling fence.
