Project Outline:

Chant's role on these Projects was to act as the Contract Monitor, ensuring that all safety and environmental aspects of the Project were in line with Agency and Brookfield Power requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attending the pre-job site visit
• Assisting the selected contractor with the preparation of the Project Safety Plan
• The preparation of the Project Hazard Assessment, ensuring all safety and environmental hazards are identified, and appropriate action taken to protect personnel and the environment
• Conducting the Project Safety Orientation for all contractors, consultants, and visitors to the site
• Ensuring that during the course of the Project, the Safety Plan/JHA's are being followed and that daily tailboard meetings are held, and
• Preparing and submitting detailed Project Safety Completion Reports.
