Chant recognizes that Value Management ("VM") has a significant impact on the eventual outcome of most projects. As part of our commitment to excellence in the services we provide, Chant applies VM to each component of a project and during all phases of the work.

VM is a function based, systematic, team approach to creative thinking and analysis designed to increase the value of a product, facility, or service.

VM Teams comprising representatives from the Owner/Client, Chant design/construction personnel, and key subcontractors and suppliers are assembled to participate in project specific workshops. The purpose of these workshops is to implement VM through identification of alternative materials and construction methods that may result in reduced construction times (improved schedule), improved facilities, and reduced costs. Reduced costs may be from either lowered initial capital expenditures and/or improved future operation and maintenance costs.
