New Power Plant for BC

SNC-LAVALIN, IN CONSORTIUM with Skanska-Chant JV and Skanska International Civil Engineering AB, has signed a $167M contract to design and build a 120MW power facility for Brilliant Expansion Power Corporation in British Columbia, Canada.

The consortium will provide engineering, procurement and construction for the new power facility. This contract is part of a larger project to expand the existing 150MW Brilliant Dam Generating Station, located on the Kootenay River near Castlegar, British Columbia.
