Chant believes in creating and maintaining a corporate safety culture that provides an environment where the safety and well being of every person on our jobsites is of utmost importance. Our goal is zero incidents.

To achieve this goal requires the development and implementation of project specific safety programs that promote and in fact require the commitment and active participation of all employees, including the site personnel or other project stakeholders such as owner personnel, subcontractors and third party agencies. The key elements of our project safety programs are effective planning, thorough pre-employment orientation, ongoing training, hazard awareness, task procedure training and employee involvement.

Our approach to safety is premised on clear lines of responsibility and accountability for safety performance within project teams and the corporation itself. We conduct frequent audits (internal and external) of our efforts and react proactively to any opportunities for improvement that may be identified as a result of audits and employee participation in our programs.
