We strive to be a good corporate citizen, and one of our core values is to support and actively encourage local community involvement in our projects.  We place special emphasis on our relationships with the First Nation bands, recognizing that as a result of the location of much of our power related work, we are often guests on First Nation traditional lands and in their communities.

Our Company has learned that First Nation peoples can positively contribute to our undertakings in many ways, and that we have much to learn from the progressive value systems inherent in their culture.

Our approach to building relationships with First Nation bands is predicated on our recognition of the deep respect they have for the land, and the important role that land has in both their way of life and culture.  We also appreciate the importance of capacity building to many First Nation, and the role that sustainable development of the land plays in bringing the First Nation into the economic main stream of Canada, both now and for future generations.
